Michael came to Rapid City in 1934 and worked for the Dougherty Drug store. Michael was a former member of the South Dakota Pharmaceutical Board and former member of the board of directors of the Rapid City Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of the Elks Club and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral. He is survived by five brothers and four sisters. He was buried at Gregory Cemetery .
