Dose, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Dose of rural Hampton. He was a passenger in a car driven by Scot A. Albin of Polk, which stalled on the U.P. mainline tracks. Albin and another passenger, Gary D. The collision occurred about 11:30 p.m. Services were conducted Monday 10:30 a.m., from the Immanuel Lutheran Church near Polk. Rev. James Eckert officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery. Terry Bender, Todd Hanquist, Tim Schulze, David Fisher, Randy Harless and Jim Wurst were pallbearers. At the service the congregation sang: "The Lord Is My Shepherd," "How Great Thou Art" and "Abide With Me." Organist was Mrs. Mark Mischnick. Michael was born October 30, 1961. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Polk High School in 1980, later attending Hastings Community College. He has been involved in the family farm operation north of Hampton. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and Polk area J.C.'s. Survivors include his parents; one brother, Dale, at home; one sister, Ruth, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dose of Hampton and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Moeller, Sr. of Grand Island.
