Read More	SUMMITVILLE — Michael E. "Mike" Waller, 60, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis from injuries received in an automobile accident on June 4, 2012 in Alexandria. He was born April 28, 1952 to Eugene Waller and Evelyn (Matthews) Sanderson. He has resided in the Summitville area all of his life. Mike was a graduate of Madison-Grant High School-Class of 1970. He was a member of the 1000 point club where he held the record as career basketball point's leader for 25 years. He served with the United States Air Force during Viet Nam. He has worked as an independent brick mason contractor for most of his lifetime. Mike attended the First Baptist Church of Summitville. He enjoyed athletics, playing and coaching slow pitch league softball in the area. He also coached his children and others in youth league baseball, basketball and softball. He was a fan of Indiana University athletics. The time spent with his family was what gave him the most pleasure. Mike is survived by his wife, Connie (Scott) Waller, married November 12, 1977; two daughters, Carly Wally, Shelly Skinner, both of Summitville; two sons, Brett Waller, Indianapolis, Kiley (Jodi) Waller, Matthews; six grandchildren, Brittney, (Skylar) Skinner, Marijayne Skinner, Monica Skinner, Jennifer Skinner, A.J. Skinner, Skylar Waller; great grandchild, Adalyn King; four brothers, David (Carol) Sanderson, Darrell Sanderson, Danny Sanderson, Nick (Danielle) Waller; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Marilyn Scott, Marion; several aunts and uncles, including Larry (Becky) Waller, Summitville and Shirley (Pete) Garwood, Alexandria; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Anthony Skinner; and other relatives. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 in the First Baptist Church, 700 East Mille Street, Summitville, Indiana with the Rev. Dennis Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery, Summitville with military honors by the United States Air Force. Chronicle Tribune 6-13-2012
