Read More	SUDDEN DEATH OF POPULAR YOUNG MAN * * * * * * * * * * Michael Joseph Fitzpatrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Fitzpatrick, passed away at the home of his parents on north Josephine Avenue, Madison, S.D., early Friday morning, April 23, of heart trouble and complications. He had been in his usual health up to the time of his death. The deceased was born in Rock Valley, August 25, 1887. He grew to manhood and received his early education here, going with his parents to Madison ten years ago. He lived there until March 1, of the present year, when with his brothers he moved to Hoven, S.D., and at the time of his death he was on a visit to his parents. Besides his parents, he leaves to mourn, two brothers and four sisters, James and Leo of Hoven, S.D., Mrs. Frank Hevern of Rock Valley, Mrs. John Solon of Madison, and Bridget and Mae at home. Funeral services were held at St. Thomas' Church in Madison on Monday and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery, in the presence of a large gathering of sorrowing relatives and friends. The pall bearers were Raymond Keegan, F. L. Berry, Thos. L. Cullinan of Rock Valley, and Joseph Down, Octave and Jerome Minneart of Madison. Among those from a distance to attend the funeral were M. McNamara, Ed Hevern, Raymond Keegan, James McCool, and Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Cullinan and son Thomas and daughter Josephine, Miss Mary Linnan, Mrs. T. F. Higgins, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Manning, Mrs. Joe Berry and son Frank, of Rock Valley, John Maher, Pat Cullinan and daughter Mary, Gary, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. John Linnan of Maurice, Ia., Mrs. John McRoen, Algona, Ia. The deceased was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He was a member of the Holy Name society, and many beautiful floral tributes offered by his friends showed how much he was loved by all. * * * * * * * * * * A similar obituary was published in the Alton Democrat, May 1, 1920, Rock Valley news, and a separate news note says that he died suddenly and was found dead in bed. * * * * * * * * * *
