Michael was born on February 13, 1952 in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Richard and Dorothy (Cerny) Grashorn. He attended school and graduated from Wisner Public School. Michael was born on February 13, 1952 in Norfolk, Nebraska, to Richard and Dorothy (Cerny) Grashorn. He attended school and graduated from Wisner Public School. On April 18, 1976, Mike was married to Glenda (Buck) Gustin. They lived most of their married lives on a small farm south of Rosalie, Nebraska. Mike enjoyed raising and selling quarter horses. He worked at IBP in Dakota City until he was diagnosed with MS in 1986. Mike enjoyed watching westerns and rodeos on TV, taking care of his yard, playing with his two dogs and spending time with his nieces and nephews and their children. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Shannon Michaela Grashorn; his father, Richard; brother-in-law, Ronald Buck Sr. and sister-in-law, Bev Grashorn. Survivors include his wife, Glenda of Rosalie; step daughter, Shawn Dolezal of Minnesota; sister, Connie (Chris) Niles of Pierce, Nebraska; two brothers, Roger (Sharon) Grashorn of West Point, Nebraska, Gerald Grashorn of Bismarck, North Dakota; brother-in-law, James (Terri) Buck of Lyons, Nebraska; and sister-in-law, Sharon Buck of West Point. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, September 19, 2014, 10:30 am, at the United Methodist Church in Rosalie, Nebraska. VISITATION: Thursday 6-8 pm with family receiving friends at Pelan Funeral Home in Lyons. Visitation will also be held at the church one hour prior to services. BURIAL: Lyons Cemetery
