Mike was born April 28, 1958 in Mullins, a son of Virginia Shelley Shelley and the late Malcolm Lester Shelley. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to work in his garden. He was a graduate of Pee Dee Academy. Mike was predeceased by his wife, Jennifer Ann Matheny. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Devotion Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Published in Morning News on February 22, 2013
