Description	:	Funeral services for Milda Klawonn, 93, of Norfolk, will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Christ Lutheran Church. Reverend Leon Rosenthal will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Klawonn passed away Saturday, March 03, 2012, at Heritage of Bel Air. Milda was born on the family farm in Pierce County, on December 24, 1918, the daughter of Max and Helen (Leu) Drews. She attended rural school before moving to Norfolk with her family. Following her education, Milda worked at the Madison Creamery. On April 9, 1939, Milda married Ervin Klawonn. The couple made their home in Norfolk. They owned Klawonn Produce before purchasing the Harbor Bar. After the death of her husband, on April 14, 1968, Milda owned and operated the Harbor Bar until retiring in 2001. Milda always put others before herself. She treated her customers as though they were her family. She enjoyed raising flowers and plants, especially her African Violets. Her passion was for her family. She especially enjoyed the many family trips and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Milda is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Sandra and Mike Murphy and Sherry and Doug Busskohl; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and one sister, Verna Brogren, of Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ervin, and granddaughter, Tiffany Lynn.
