Main St. Osceola, Iowa 50213 Milda Ruth Imhoff, daughter of Arthur Boswell and Ethel (Umphress) Boswell was born May 18, 1930 in Lamoni, Iowa and passed from this life Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 81 years of age. Milda grew up in the Leon area and graduated from Leon High School. She was baptized into Christ as a young teenager. Milda was united in marriage to Roscoe Edgar Imhoff on June 19, 1949 in the front room of her Mother's home in Leon. This union was blessed with four children, Rolene, Marlene, Marcia and Royce. Milda worked for Furnas Electric for 20 years, retiring in 1992. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Osceola Church of Christ and Roscoe and Milda enjoyed being a part of Sojourners with the church, helping individual churches in different parts of the country. Those relatives who preceded Milda in death were her parents, Arthur and Ethel; brothers, Joe and Tom Boswell; sister, Esther Fetters, Juanita Foltz and Nina Elliott; half-brother, Gerald Dawson; half-sister, Vita Johnson; mother and father-in-law, George and Edith Imhoff. Milda leaves to cherish her memory, husband Roscoe; daughter, Rolene (Randell) Bryan of Hamlin, Texas, daughter, Marlene (Larry) Meissner of Banning, California, daughter, Marcia (Brett) Grimm of Osceola, Iowa, son, Royce Imhoff of Clarinda, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Vonna Uhlman; brother, Hugh (Iryce) Boswell of Independence, Missouri; sister, Billie (Max) John of Cedar Rapids, Iowa as well as other relatives and many friends. Memorials: Osceola Church of Christ Visitation will be open from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM Wednesday. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services on Thursday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola Service: 11:00 am on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Kale Funeral Home (Osceola Chapel) 301 S. Main St. Osceola Iowa 50213.
