Description	:	Daughter of Ralph and Viola (Miller) Allison. She attended rural grade school in Wheeler county. Mildred married Kermit T. Hinze on September 6, 1942 and they lived on a farm north of the Akron community, where they had a daughter and a son. Mildred had many talents and interests, some of them being; a large garden and orchard, raising Chinchillas, wook-working, leather-working, crocheting and sewing, oil-painting scenic landscape pictures, assisted in beginning the first 4-H club in the Akron... Read More	Daughter of Ralph and Viola (Miller) Allison. She attended rural grade school in Wheeler county. Mildred married Kermit T. Hinze on September 6, 1942 and they lived on a farm north of the Akron community, where they had a daughter and a son. Mildred had many talents and interests, some of them being; a large garden and orchard, raising Chinchillas, wook-working, leather-working, crocheting and sewing, oil-painting scenic landscape pictures, assisted in beginning the first 4-H club in the Akron area- the Bonanza 4-H'ers, beginning a ceramics shop in her basement, then moving it to her Bonanza Ceramics shop in Albion and expanding to Spalding. She had a musical background and was proficient in playing the piano, organ, accordion, harmonica, fiddle and Hawaiian guitar. She played back-up with the Eldhorn Valley Fiddlers, then later traveled to various nursing homes in communities around Albion, playing and singing for all the Senior Citizens there. For twelve and a half years, she was a Field Director for Green Thumb, traveling through eleven counties, assisting the retired Senior Citizens find part-time work to supplement their retirement income. She loved working with and greeting people. Survivors include her three children: Gail Booth and his wife Barbara of Lavonia, Michigan and Arizona; Veaetta Wilford of rural Albion; and Kermit Hinze, Jr. and his wife Linda (Hinkle) of rural Salix, Iowa: her older sisters; Leona Field of Independence, Missouri; Vivian Hinkle of Cottonwood, California; brother Virgil Allison and wife Dorothy of Omaha; younger sisters; Janett Riley of Albion, and Iva Jean Hageman of Seward, Nebraska: Nine grandchildren: Steve Booth of Michigan; Crystal Wilford of Little Rock; Lynette Wilford of rural Wolbach; Liza Hinze of Sioux City; Wes Hinze of Norfolk; Camille Brown of Sioux City; Les Hinze of Sioux City; Joel Hinze of Sioux City; and Lora Hinze of rural Salix. She was also survived by six great grandchildren: Kaleb and Kali Copple; Taylem and Kaylee Hinze; Sydnie Brown; and Tanner Hinze. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant brothers; her first husband James Booth; her husband Kermit; grandchildren Stacy Booth and Lonnie Hinze, and other loved ones.
