Description	:	Mildred C. Dew, age 86, of Kates Bay Hwy, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Dew was born in Horry County, SC, a daughter of the late Frank Woodrow and Roxie Adell Fleming Johnson. She was a lifetime member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and prior to retirement in 1995, she worked for AVX in Myrtle Beach. Mrs. Dew was predeceased by a sister, Daisy Lister. Dew (Catherine) of Conway, six grandchildren, Christopher Leon Martin (Alicia) of Charlotte, NC Tina Marie Martin (Brett) of Raleigh, NC, Roman F. Dew (Helene) and Josie M. Dew, all of Virginia Beach, VA, Tera L. Cook of Charleston, SC and Hunter Rae Dew of Conway, four great-grandchildren, Austin, Evan, Liam and Shylar, three sisters, Frances Wygal of Salem, VA, Ruby Nance of Charlotte, NC and Aline Oliver of Mint Hill, NC and one brother, Olin D. Johnson of Florence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lindsay Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Dew Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
