Born in Florence, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Sam Wilkes and Annie Matthews Wilkes. Mrs. Bray was a seamstress at Florence Manufacturing Company and was retired from Krispy Kreme of Florence. She was a homemaker and a member of Rumsey Memorial Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles C. Lee; two sisters, Rosie Wilkes and Kathaleen McKenzie; six brothers, Leland Wilkes, Freeland Wilkes, Ernest Wilkes, Adam Wilkes, Rally Wilkes, and William Wilkes. She is survived her husband, William "Billy" Bray; a daughter, Helen L. "Bobby" Bullard of Marion; four sons, Ronnie Lee and Bobby Lee of Timmonsville, Wayne Lee of Florence, and Charles Lee of Clearwater, FL; stepchildren, Rilda and Fred Carroll, Lalani and Rick Coutsos and Debbie Bray all of Columbia, Allen and Marilyn Bray of Florence; two sisters, Virginia and Charles Cook of Scranton, Magdalene and Jimmy Smith of Effingham; one brother, James and Irene Wilkes of Scranton; eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
