Description	:	Mildred Fern (Oswald) Stutzman, age 95, of Berlin, Ohio was called home to glory, on Sunday morning, August 23rd, 2015 at her son's residence following a period of declining health. Based on God's word and her trust in the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Berlin with Pastor Tom Nye officiating. Burial will be at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, Ohio. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Berlin or to LifeCare Hospice. She was born May 21, 1920 in Holmes County Ohio and was the daughter of Adam and Lucy (Troyer) Oswald. On July 12, 1941 she married Richard L Stutzman and he preceded her in death in 1984. She was a homemaker and Seamstress, mastering the art of her signature cookie, Date Pin-Wheels. Mildred helped her husband at Stutzman's Trucking with secretary and clerical work. She was the Back Bone behind the business. During her retirement years she worked at German Village IGA in dry goods. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church in Berlin where she was a past Sunday school teacher. She loved gardening, playing the piano and spending time with family. Her glory was the home. Mildred is survived by three sons Ronald L (Mariann) Stutzman and Gary W. (Brenda) Stutzman both of Berlin, Ohio and Duane L (Barbara) Stutzman of Trail, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Benjamin Stutzman, Andrea Povick, Tereasa Stutzman, Rhonda (Chance) Cleghorn, Paula (Willie) Starn and Adriana Stutzman; and six great-grandchildren; Cade Wagers, Mia Stutzman, Izzabella Stutzman, Collette Cleghorn, Addison Starn and Avery Starn. She was preceded in death by her daughter, who passed away in 1982, Sharon (Stutzman) Povick, and four brothers Earl, Atlee, Orie and John Oswald.
