Mildred lived all her life around the Morden area. She was a lifetime member of the Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. In her earlier years she was an active member of the Ladies Curling. She greatly enjoyed the companionship of all her friends in Legion House 2. She is also survived by grandchildren, Lori Lyn and husband Mike Burrows of Winnipeg, Kevin and Paul Langrell of Winnipeg, Jeff and his wife, Virginia Hayhurst, Dean and his wife, Sheri Hayhurst, Kirk Hayhurst of Lethbridge, AB, Keri Elliot of Lac du Bonnet and Lisa Elliot and husband, Neil Belcher of Winnipeg; great grandchildren, Brenden and Jesse Burrows, Tavia Hayhurst and Ashley Hayhurst; one sister Marjorie Godkin as well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Elliot in 1964 and second husband, Oliver Rach in 2004. At Mildred's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no memorial. Private family ash interment will take pace at a later date at Chapel Cemetery in Morden. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Boundary Trails Health Centre for their dedicated service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mildred's memory to the charity of one's choice. Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden in care of arrangements.
