This would make him the son of George Washington Holloway and Mary Ann Colett Holloway. Ancestry shows a daughter Colette Collins Holloway who died in infancy which would be a combination of William and Minnie's mothers' maiden names. However, this couple has a son William Calvin Holloway already linked whose marriage license shows him from Craven County as is his betrothed, Sarah Magnolia Butler. I feel strongly that this is an incorrect link but can't find his 1880 US Census in Craven County. He had a witness of Elizabeth Powell on his marriage license who may be a person of interest. While researching Minnie's mother I found a strong connection between her family and Arkansas. Memorial #45485020 is a possibility for William Holloway if a link could be made back to Caldwell County, North Carolina from other Holloways buried in this cemetery.
