Description	:	Mildred Laura Klahn was born to her loving parents Herman Henry and Dora E. (Ristow) Klahn on Thursday October 25, 1923 at Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. My research found no information on Mildred's childhood or elementary schooling. Mildred was a graduate of Scribner High. Mildred lived in the Scribner area all her life. Mildred had several occupations during her lifetime. Mildred was a former doctor office receptionist, a Farmers Telephone Company operator, a Nebraska Natural Gas bookkeeper for eighteen years, and most recently employed at Dostal Plumbing of Scribner for over seven years. My research found no information on Mildred's childhood or elementary schooling. Mildred was a graduate of Scribner High. Mildred lived in the Scribner area all her life. Mildred had several occupations during her lifetime. Mildred was a former doctor office receptionist, a Farmers Telephone Company operator, a Nebraska Natural Gas bookkeeper for eighteen years, and most recently employed at Dostal Plumbing of Scribner for over seven years. Mildred retired in 1990. Sadly Mildred passed on Friday November 19, 1993 at her Scribner home at the age of 70 years, 25 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 25,593 days. Mildred's funeral service was held at the United Church of Christ where she was a member on Monday November 22, 1993 with Rev. Kenneth Saunders officiating. Mildred was interred in the Hooper Cemetery. Mildred's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Mildred by Loren R.
