Milly was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Cumberland. She was a member of the Brandywine Extension Homemakers, and past president of both the Hancock County Extension Homemakers Association, and the Indiana Extension Homemakers. She represented Indiana homemakers at the Associated Country Women of the World Convention held in Dublin, Ireland, in 1963. She was a member of Beta Chapter (Associate) of Kappa Kappa Kappa Sorority. she was a long-time supporter of sports teams at New Palestine High School. Pastors Audrey Alexander and Larry Kleiman officiating.
