Mildred daughter of Frederick and Helena (Willems) Beyer was born on November 27, 1911 in Ashland, Nebraska. Mildred received her education at Norfolk Public Schools. Read More	Centenarian, Mildred Louise Carver, 100 of Albion died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion. Mildred daughter of Frederick and Helena (Willems) Beyer was born on November 27, 1911 in Ashland, Nebraska. Mildred received her education at Norfolk Public Schools. On October 9, 1928 Mildred was united in marriage to Robert Ira Carver in Sioux City, IA. They made their home in Norfolk before moving to Albion in 1932 where her husband Robert managed the Norco Feed Mill. Mildred was a devoted wife and homemaker, raising their six children. She later worked for a time at "The Shopper" in Albion. In 1992 Mildred and Robert moved to the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center. Her husband Robert of 64 years, died November 12, 1992. Mildred was a member of the Congregational Church and later Zion Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors Club, Congregational Church Groups and card clubs. She loved fishing, sewing, quilting, crocheting, making afghans for her family and taking care of her grandchildren. Surviving Mildred are: sons: Robert, Jr. (LaVonne) Carver of Aurora, NE; Donald (Judy) Carver of Lehigh Acres, FL; Richard (Florence) Carver of Lawndale, CA; Raymond Carver of Albion, NE; one daughter: Kathleen (Jack) Krier of Russell, KS; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 44 great-great grandchildren; one sister: Elsie (Axel) Davidson of Huntsville, AL. Mildred was preceded in death by: parents, husband Robert Carver; daughter: Betty Olnes; brothers: Arthur, Fred, Jr., Ernest and Marion Beyer; one grandson and one great-grandson. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, NE.
