Obituary: Mildred Lucille Tillotson, 83, of Nevada died of an aneurysm Monday at Story County Hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ Church in Nevada, of which she was a member. Burial will be at the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing. Obituary: Mildred Lucille Tillotson, 83, of Nevada died of an aneurysm Monday at Story County Hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ Church in Nevada, of which she was a member. Burial will be at the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing. Mrs. Tillotson was born in Zearing and lived in Story County for many years before moving to Arizona and returning to Nevada in 1980. She was a homemaker, a former department store buyer, a saleswoman for Sarah Coventry Jewelry, and also owned Millie's Kitchen in Elkhart. She was a member of American Business Women, past oracle of Royal Neighbors of America, past president of Story County Hospital Auxiliary, Mistress of Ceremonies for Community Fellowship Luncheon for 15 years, and chairwoman of the Hobby Division for Lincoln Highway Days for 10 years. She is survived by two daughters, Gretchen Kruse of Ripon, Calif., and Charlotte Cozine of North Liberty; a brother, Forrest Holveck of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Opal Holm of Great Falls, Mont.; 13 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Fellowship Luncheon and Senior Citizens Center.
