Following Henry's death in 1959, she married Clarence Lohff in LeGrand. Together they spent many years living in Holstein until Clarence's death in 2011. She then moved to Chelsea to live with her daughter. She loved gardening, feeding the birds, and doing her woodworking projects. She had a keen sense of humor, a sweet smile and a generous heart.
