Services in celebration of her long life will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, Feb. 21st, at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1915 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport, where her family will greet friends from 9 A.M. until time of service. Private committal will be at Lone Tree Cemetery. Born on June 21, 1915 in Muscatine, Iowa to John and Ida Bierman, Milly spent her time and talents in the Lone Tree and West Liberty farming communities as the wife of Carl Shingledecker. He preceded her in death September 29, 1977. Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Sheridan of Phoenix, AZ, Carla (Bill) Conn of Trego WI, and Debra (Roger) Leese of Davenport; son, Gary (Marsha) Shingledecker of Muscatine, IA; grandchildren, Jill (Dan) Brenenstuhl of Paradise Valley, AZ, Casey (Julianne Jensen) Shingledecker of West Branch, IA, and Ann (Mark) Mangini of Sherman Oaks, CA; and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Mitchel Shingledecker, Rio Mangini and Tyler and Julianne Brenenstuhl.
