Mildred Black Boyer Barr Wingfield Fletcher – Mildred Black Boyer Barr Wingfield, 88, of Fletcher, and formerly of Independence, Va., passed away Monday, June 19, 2006, at Universal Health Care, Fletcher. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Jeanette and Tony Caudill of Fletcher; one sister and spouse, Edna and Olin Reeves of Elkin; sister-inlaw, Inez Boyer of Independence, Va.; grandson and spouse, James and Tammy Caudill of Fountain, Colo.; two great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. The body is at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, Va. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Brush Creek Baptist Church, Independence, Va. with interment in Brush Creek Cemetery. The Revs. John Huntley, Eddie Roland and Paul Boyer officiating. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, she ask memorials be given to HOSPICE, P.O.
