Description	:	The whole community was shocked Wednesday, by the news that Mrs. George Fouquet had died at five o’clock that morning, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Kraus. Influenza was the cause of her death, which had not been unexpected for several days. Millie Agnes Kraus was born near Ransom, March 7, 1894, and died at Ransom, February 12, 1919, aged twenty-four years, eleven months and five days. Influenza was the cause of her death, which had not been unexpected for several days. Millie Agnes Kraus was born near Ransom, March 7, 1894, and died at Ransom, February 12, 1919, aged twenty-four years, eleven months and five days. She was a sweet, cheerful disposition, beloved of all who knew her. She was a graduate of the Ransom High School of the class of ‘15 and taught two terms at the country school and later studied music at the Hays Normal. She was united in marriage with George P. Fouquet, July 31, 1917, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, of this city. To this union one child, Chester Manley, was born. They built themselves a home here, and life seemed to hold for them her richest blessings. She was a dutiful daughter, loving wife and devoted mother - a real home-maker. Sometimes it is hard for us to understand, but we must learn to say, “Not my will, but Thine, be done,” and thus find comfort. She leaves to mourn her early departure, a husband, one son, father and mother, two brothers and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were to have been conducted at the Catholic Church at ten o’clock this morning and interrment made in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Ransom. Ransom Record, February 13, 1919
