Born in Liberty, a daughter of the late Oscar B. and Gertie Watt Stewart, Mrs. Kirk was a homemaker and a member of United Weslyan Church of Easley, where she taught the Ladies Class for many years. Born in Liberty, a daughter of the late Oscar B. and Gertie Watt Stewart, Mrs. Kirk was a homemaker and a member of United Weslyan Church of Easley, where she taught the Ladies Class for many years. Surviving are two sons, Michael Bruce Kirk of Easley, and Stewart Gregory Kirk and his wife Sherry of Six Mile; two brothers, Jay Watt Stewart and Raymond Eugene Stewart, both of Easley; a sister, Margaret Edgar of Sumter; four grandchildren, Stacey Kirk, Sonja Turner, Chad Kirk and Kimberlynn Kirk; one great-grandson, Chase Gaddy; and a special friend, Linda Bell of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kirk was predeceased by a son, Oscar Barry Kirk. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home--Downtown with the Rev. Lawrence Keever and the Rev. Donnie Massingill officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The body is at Robinson Funeral Home--Downtown, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621. The family is at the home of Michael Kirk, 1309 North Old Pendleton Road, Easley. Robinson Funeral Home--Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
