Read More	Morning Sun, The (Pittsburg, KS) Milford Brown Published: March 1, 2005 Milford Brown, 91, Pittsburg, died at 1:41 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at Medicalodge North, Pittsburg. He was born Aug. 19, 1913, in Pittsburg to Charles Henry and Hazel (Dray) Brown. He graduated from Pittsburg High School. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II, and was honorably discharged in 1946. Mr. Brown worked as a service representative for the Union Gas Company for 34 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Pittsburg, and the 21st Century Sunday School Class. He married Thelma Tims on Oct. 3, 1937, in Pittsburg. She preceded him in death on Sept. 4, 2002. Survivors include one brother, Lt. Col. Richard Brown, U.S. Army, retired, of Springfield, Mo., and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Munn, and six brothers, Edward Brown, Chester Brown, Alvie Brown, Charlie Brown, Robert Brown and Harold Brown. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at the First Christian Church, Pittsburg, with the Rev. Ron Keith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Benjamin Fuller American Legion Post No. 64, Pittsburg, will conduct the flag folding cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Friends may call at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg, after 4 p.m. today. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 522 S. Broadway.
