Milford passed away on Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender, NE. Milford Dean Hart was born April 19, 1933 at Verdel, NE to Ezra C. and Lottie A. ( Walton) Hart. He grew up in the Knox Co. area. He served in the United States Army from February 18, 1955 till February 5, 1957. On May 5, 1955, he was united in marriage to Marlene Koenig at the Congregational Church in Center, NE. The couple lived in Creighton after their marriage and later moved to a farm near Coleridge, NE and later lived in Laurel, NE before moving to a farm near Beemer, NE in 1960. In 1966, the couple moved into Beemer, where he was employed by Jim Albers and he later worked for Peet's Feeds in Beemer, NE until retirement. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Beemer and had served on the Beemer Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. Milford enjoyed playing cards, going to coffee, working outdoors, gardening, watching sporting events and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Survivors include- Wife-Marlene Hart of Beemer, NE 6 Children- Patty Hart of Omaha, NE James Hart of Arkansas Mike and Jenny Hart of Clarkson, NE Sandra and Frank Peebles of Glendale, AZ Jeff Hart of Lynch, NE Marsha Hart of Norfolk, NE 10 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren Brothers- Don and Norma Hart of Creighton, NE Merlyn and Sharon Hart of Creighton, NE Willard and Sandy Hart of Norfolk, NE Sisters- Margaret Lucht of Creighton, NE Meledene and Garry Nelson of Norfolk, NE Brother-in-law- Larry and Dee Koenig of Newman Grove, NE Milford was preceded in death by his parents, son-David, granddaughter-Regan Hart, two brothers and their wives- Bob and Blondie Hart and Kenny and Barb Hart, and one brother-in-law-Fred Lucht.
