Description	:	Millicent A. Ellerbusch, 102, of Newburgh passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born July 17, 1919 in Newburgh to the late John and Bena (Thiel) Grimm. She graduated from Newburgh High School and was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ, where she attended Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Guild. Millicent was a fantastic cook, enjoyed her huge garden, flowers and crafting. She was a survivor which made her fiercely independent and ready to take on any challenge. She was born July 17, 1919 in Newburgh to the late John and Bena (Thiel) Grimm. She graduated from Newburgh High School and was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ, where she attended Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Guild. Millicent was a fantastic cook, enjoyed her huge garden, flowers and crafting. She was a survivor which made her fiercely independent and ready to take on any challenge. Millicent was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Ellerbusch; sister, Dorothy Tweedy, and brothers, Orville Grimm and Howard Grimm. She is survived by her son, David Ellerbusch (Patty); daughter, Mary Bischoff (Tod); grandchildren, Jennifer Moneymaker (Jason), Laura Schnur (Eric) and Andrew Ellerbusch; great grandchildren, Carter, Jude and Millicent Schnur and Beckett Moneymaker; and her nieces, nephews, all whom she loved. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 7, 2022 at Zion United Church of Christ, 10 W. 1st Street, officiated by Rev. Dan Kennedy, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261 and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
