Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs Earl (Permillia) Kirby, 78, formerly of New Market, were held July 7 at Shum-Novinger Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev Ollie Odle officiating. Mrs Kirby died July 3 at Greeley, Colorado. Interment was at Old Memory Cemetery, near New Market. Permillia Kirby, affectionately called Millie, was born October 18, 1890 at New Market, Iowa to John and Mary Reynolds. Mrs Kirby died July 3 at Greeley, Colorado. Interment was at Old Memory Cemetery, near New Market. Permillia Kirby, affectionately called Millie, was born October 18, 1890 at New Market, Iowa to John and Mary Reynolds. On June 5, 1912 she was united in marriage to Earl Kirby at New Market and to this union six children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl, in 1944; two daughters, Thelma Boltinghouse in 1940 and Alta Moser in 1965; two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by three sons, Ivan and Dale Kirby, Johnstown, Colorado and Warren Kirby, Tarkio, Mo; one daughter, Mrs Erma Leighton, Council Bluffs, Iowa; one brother, Arthur Reynolds, Ottumwa, Iowa, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Bedford, and had spent her entire life in Taylor County except for the past 12 years which were spent in Johnstown, Colo. She was a wonderful and loving mother, a devoted wife, a kind neighbor and a friend of many. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
