Description	:	MRS. MILLIE ROSE SANDERSON: Following a lengthy illness there passed away in London on March 21st, 1958, Millie Rose Sanderson, wife of the late Leonard A. Sanderson, Shelburne, and daughter of the late Martha Carr and Matthew Sanderson, in her 75th year. MILLIE ROSE SANDERSON: Following a lengthy illness there passed away in London on March 21st, 1958, Millie Rose Sanderson, wife of the late Leonard A. Sanderson, Shelburne, and daughter of the late Martha Carr and Matthew Sanderson, in her 75th year. Mrs. Sanderson was born in Cheltenham, on February 23rd, 1884, As a child she moved with her parents to the third line, Amaranth, and attended Coleridge Public School. They later moved to Shelburne, where she was employed as a tailoress with the late Hugh Falconer for a number of years. In August, 1929, she married Leonard A. Sanderson, of Shelburne by C. J. McNicholl, pastor of the Gospel Workers' Church. For a number of years they farmed in Melancthon Township, later retiring to Shelburne. Predeceased by her husband in 1947, she was a resident of Shelburne until her death. The funeral service was held at the Gamble Funeral Home on Monday, March 24th. Rev. A. E. Peterson conducted the service at the chapel and Mortuary. During the service Mrs. Peterson rendered a beautiful solo "Beyond the Sunset." Pallbearers, friends of the deceased, were: Messrs. William Jordon, Norman Stephenson, John Besley, J. J. Spilker, Ernest Little and Lawrence Phillips. The many flowers were a tribute to the esteem in which she was held in the community.
