Description	:	Funeral services for Milo A. Long, who passed away at his home Wednesday morning, June 19, were held Friday afternoon, June 21 at three o'clock at the Methodist church, with Rev. J. E. Isbell officiating. Milo Andrew Long, son of the late Adam D. and Jennie Gordon Long was born November 16, 1871 at Clarence where he spent his life, with the exception of six months spent at Excelsior Springs, MO. Milo Andrew Long, son of the late Adam D. and Jennie Gordon Long was born November 16, 1871 at Clarence where he spent his life, with the exception of six months spent at Excelsior Springs, MO. He attended the Clarence elementary schools and the Macon District Academy. He was married to Ruby Stiles April 22, 1894 and to this union three children were born. Marvin LaRue and Madge Clunette, the oldest and youngest, who passed away in their early twenties. Paul, the second son, of Rialto, Calif. In young manhood he joined the Methodist Episcopal church in Clarence where he remained a faithful member until it disbanded, then he transferred his membership to the Center Street Methodist church, where he was always ready to assume obligations in doing his part well. He served as a member of the board of stewards about seventeen years, resigning about four years ago because of ill health. He was a member of the Wesley Brotherhood class. Mr. Long was held in high esteem in his large circle of friends and he will be greatly missed. Besides his wife and son he leaves two grandchildren, Paul LaRue and Patricia Louise, one sister, Mrs. Ida Felker of Macon, two brothers, Albert D. Long of Clarence and Lloyd Long of East St. Louis, Ill., several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Pall bearers were: G. H. Rogers, J. W. Wheeler, L. L. Wheeler. O. O. Hedrick. J. F. Carothers and Elmer Cross.
