NE When World War II broke out, this blue-eyed, brown haired man with dark complexion walked into the draft office on October 16, 1940. He was still single, and living with his widowed mother, Emma. He was self employed. On November 18, 1970, he married Adella Steffel in Fremont, Nebraska.
