Description	:	"BROADUS -- Milo H. Cook served as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1948 and in 1960 was elected state senator, serving one term. He then returned to Powder River County where he operated the family ranch. He had solely funded the Powder River County Food Bank and assisted the Miles City and Billings food banks. A very giving and generous man with a strong belief in his ability, he enjoyed politics, playing billiards and had published a book on poetry as a tribute to President Roosevelt. He then returned to Powder River County where he operated the family ranch. He had solely funded the Powder River County Food Bank and assisted the Miles City and Billings food banks. A very giving and generous man with a strong belief in his ability, he enjoyed politics, playing billiards and had published a book on poetry as a tribute to President Roosevelt. He was a member of Montana Institute of the Arts and as a young man attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Mr. Cook, 70, died Tuesday in his home of natural causes. He was born in Minneapolis, Minn., a son of Hubert and Ella Cook. He moved with his parents as a child to Powder River County where the family homesteaded. He attended schools in Broadus and later enlisted in the Civilian Conservation Corps for a short time. Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Walter (Ella Mae) Ferguson, and a brother, Leland, both of Broadus; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Congregational Church in Broadus with burial in Valley View Cemetery. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Broadus is in charge."
