Description	:	Milo Vernon Price was born in Lewistown, Montana on 3/21/1919. His parents were William & Harriet Price.The family moved back to Nebraska around 1920, which is where they had lived originally. They had one more son, Eldon, who was born in 1923. Milo attended school in various towns in Nebraska & graduated from Dannebrog High School in 1936. He went to California & worked at Douglas Aircraft Company in aifcraft fabrication. Read More	Milo Vernon Price was born in Lewistown, Montana on 3/21/1919. His parents were William & Harriet Price.The family moved back to Nebraska around 1920, which is where they had lived originally. They had one more son, Eldon, who was born in 1923. Milo attended school in various towns in Nebraska & graduated from Dannebrog High School in 1936. He went to California & worked at Douglas Aircraft Company in aifcraft fabrication. He joined the Navy in 1944 & specialized in electronics. Milo met his wife, Merle, in Hollywood & they were married on January 25, 1947 in Los Angeles. Soon after they went to San Luis Obispo & Milo attended Cal Poly, while Merle worked at the telephone company to put him through college. After graduating as an Aeronautical Engineer Milo rejoined Douglas Aircraft as a technical representative in product support. His career took them to many locations in the country. In doing so Milo served the Navy Pacific Command in Coronado, CA, the Navy Department in Washington, D.C., & finished his career serving the Marine Corps in Yuma, AZ. Milo was an avid golfer as his many friends will testify, & his good humor entertained them both on & off the golf course. He & Merle loved to travel. They had travel trailers & covered the country, enjoying their leisure time. They caught the "Cruise Bug" also & took about 25 cruises to all parts of the world. They had no children but loved having Golden Retrievers and Westies, which helped fill that void. Milo & Merle lived in Pebble Creek in the Phoenix area for many years & then moved to La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ in 2006. Merle passed away in December 2006. Milo then passed away on July 23, 2007 in Goodyear, AZ. A memorial service was held at La Loma in his honor & was attended by many friends. His cremains will be buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Dannebrog, NE on September 14, 2007. Milo is survived by his brother & sister-in-law, two cousins, two nieces & a nephew.
