Read More	Milton was born on August 29, 1925 to Ernest and Marie (Ahrens) Bek in Seward, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Staplehurst, NE. He graduated from Seward High School in 1943. Milton married Elaine Neitzel on November 24, 1946. He served in the Merchant Marines in 1945 with the Army Transport Corp. Milton was a lifetime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Staplehurst, NE where he held many different offices. Twice he was chosen as a delegate to the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Conventions. Milton enjoyed serving the Lord as he was called upon. Milton was a farmer and raised hogs. His hobbies included quilting and traveling with this wife. He was always happy to join in a game of dart ball. Milton participated in many organizations. In 1949, he became a lifetime member of the Lutheran Laymens League where he held many different offices, including Zone President. He served as President of the Seward County Farmers Union and Chairman of the Staplehurst Men’s Community Club. He was a member of the Staplehurst Fire Department for 30 years. Milton entered into the arms of Jesus on April 22, 2015 in Seward, NE at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 24 days. He is survived by children and families: Marie, Yvonne, Rahn, Warren as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
