Description	:	Milton Schwinger, of Hubbard died at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services were held at Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard. Military honors were provided by the Walter-Sayer Legion Post No. 182 and the VFW Post No. 3974 of Eldora. Milton attended country school at Tipton No. 4, Hubbard. Milton entered the U.S. Army on Jan. 27, 1942, and returned home in October 1945. On Dec. 18, 1945, he was united in marriage to LuElla Ziesman. He and LuElla operated the Schwinger Mum Garden for several years while farming 160 acres. They moved to Eldora in 1976. In January 1998, they made their home at the Valley View Nursing and Rehab Center in Eldora. Milton later resided at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church of Hubbard. Milton was a 4-H leader for many years. Survivors include a son, a grandson, a sister, a brother, and nieces and nephews.
