Description	:	Milton was born the 6th of July in 1833 in Shalersville, Portage County, Ohio to the parents of Moses McIntosh who was a Veteran of the War of 1812 ( 1789 - 1863) and his wife Rebecca Bright 'McIntosh' (1806 - 1863) Yes they passed just a few months apart. McIntosh: 1855, cannot find a death date, only that he married and had children Louise Caroline: 1856 - 1938 Annabelle: 1871 - 1940 Milton enlists in the Civil War in Ohio as a Private in Company B, 184th Infantry Regiment on February 11th in 1865, mustered out on September 20th in 1865 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 33 years old. One record has him qualifying at the age of 17 but he didn't serve until much later. 1900 he is in Fairview, Custer County, Colorado as a stone cutter, the 1910 census has Milton as widowed and in Kansas. His wife Laura passed in 1910 from a a heart attach in Rawlins County, Kansas and is buried in the Atwood Cemetery in Rawlins County, Kansas. Milton outlived his wife by 7 years and passes on the 9th of September in the year of 1917. Buried in Colorado State Vet. Center at Homelake Cemetery in Monte Vista, Rio Grande County, Colorado. He was 84 years old.
