He entered and served in the U.S. Army during WWII from March 24, 1943 - February 12, 1946. On March 10, 1946 Milt married Geraldine Schmidt to whom he was married for 57 years. In his lifetime he worked on Railway Express for Union Pacific Railroad, he owned and operated the Sunset Superette and Potters/Langan grocery stores, worked for Gerhold Concrete, sold real estate for Becher Curry, served as Platte County Clerk for 14 1/2 years, and had a saw sharpening...
