Mr. Clark was born in Oconee County. He was the son of the late Ross and Eunice Moody Clark. Read More	THE GREENVILLE NEWS - Feb. 6, 2003 Milton Leon Clark, 82, of 2314 Walhalla Highway, husband of Berta Mae Winchester Clark, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003. Mr. Clark was born in Oconee County. He was the son of the late Ross and Eunice Moody Clark. An Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Clark retired from The Singer Company after almost 39 years of service, and was a devoted member and Deacon of Mountain View Baptist Church. He was also a dedicated member of Six Mile Masonic Lodge and Hejaz Shrine Temple. His garden, which he tended with his wife, was a great source of pride, and visitors always left with a bag full of freshly picked vegetables in hand. His generosity and kind-heartedness will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by a daughter, June Bowers, and her husband ,Connie, of Pickens; a son, David Clark, and Vicki, of Dacusville; grandchildren, Joseph Bowers and Beth, of Atlanta, John Bowers and Sumaya, of Asheville, Suzanne Reed of Jacksonville, Steven Clark of Eugene, Oregon, and Will Clark and Casey Hitt, of Dacusville; and great-grandchildren, Cassidy Bowers and Phoenyx Reed. Also surviving are sisters Lola Bolding of Greenville and Ruth Roach of Lavonia, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Feb. 6, 2003, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with burial at the church cemetery. The family will greet friends in the church sanctuary, prior to the service, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Bus Fund, 336 Mountain View Church Road, Six Mile, SC 29682 The family will be at the home. - Dillard Memorial Funeral Home.
