Description	:	"BROADUS -- Milton Roy Phillippi, 67, died Sunday evening at her home of natural causes. He was born at the homestead in Powder River County, the son of Henry and Minnie Phillippi. He was raised on the ranch south of Broadus, attended Broadus High School and worked for the CCC for two years before enlisting in the Army from 1940 to 1945. He married Mary Neese July 18, 1947, in Miles City. They moved to Yakima, Wash., and in 1949 to Seattle, Wash., where he was a welder for a majority of the time, then was... Read More	"BROADUS -- Milton Roy Phillippi, 67, died Sunday evening at her home of natural causes. He was born at the homestead in Powder River County, the son of Henry and Minnie Phillippi. He was raised on the ranch south of Broadus, attended Broadus High School and worked for the CCC for two years before enlisting in the Army from 1940 to 1945. He married Mary Neese July 18, 1947, in Miles City. They moved to Yakima, Wash., and in 1949 to Seattle, Wash., where he was a welder for a majority of the time, then was a custodian, retiring in August of 1975. He moved to his brother's ranch where he built his residence north of Hammond where he lived in the summer, wintering in Arizona. He was a member and grand master of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Yuma, Ariz. Survivors include his brother, Lester, north of Hammond. His wife preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Congregational Church in Broadus with burial in the family lot in Valley View Cemetery." The Billings Gazette, May 19, 1982
