Description	:	Milum “Mike” Seal, 91, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1927 in Sneedsville, Tennessee, the son of the late Richard Samuel Seal and Virginia Tennessee (Collins) Seal. Mike attended Crothersville High School and then served during WW II as a Seaman in the United States Merchant Marines until he was honorably discharged in September of 1946. Read More	Milum “Mike” Seal, 91, of Crothersville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on August 12, 1927 in Sneedsville, Tennessee, the son of the late Richard Samuel Seal and Virginia Tennessee (Collins) Seal. Mike attended Crothersville High School and then served during WW II as a Seaman in the United States Merchant Marines until he was honorably discharged in September of 1946. He was married on September 14, 1947 to Jo Ann Cathcart. Mike worked for 35 years at the old American Can Company in Austin, Indiana, retiring as a supervisor in 1982, was a farmer and raised Black Angus cattle. He enjoyed gardening, canning and making tomato juice. Mike restored and worked on his tractors and also had built several houses for his family members throughout the years. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Taylor, Delsie, Tilmon and Bill Seal and four sisters, Mable George, Ruth Hazelwood, Opal Colwell, and Irene McKain. Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Jo Ann Seal; two daughters, Rhonda McCammon and husband Jim of Seymour, Indiana and Phyllis Hall of Crothersville, Indiana; a brother, R.C. Seal and his wife Bobbie of Crothersville, Indiana; five grandchildren; Heather Quillen and husband Roger, Richie Hunt and girlfriend Hollie, Rachel Haines and husband Curtis, Ryan Hunt and wife Kara and Christy Hall and six great-grandchildren, Zach Quillen, Zerik Hunt, Ean and Evan Hunt, Adam and Clark Haines. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Randy King officiating. Visitation: 6 to 8 pm Saturday and after 11 am Sunday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Little York Cemetery.
