Description	:	SPENCER-Funeral services for Mrs. John Muters, 69, will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran church here Thursday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. M. Larry Dahlstrom officiating. Mrs. Muters died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Florence Ness, at Madison March 26 following a short illness. Burial will be in the Spencer cemetery with the Kinzley Funeral Home of Salem in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Muters, the former Mina Martin, was born in Illinois City, Ill., May 29, 1891. She moved to South Dakota at the age of 17 with her parents, who settled at Philip. She was married to John Muters at Ft. Pierre Feb.7, 1910. The couple lived at Lebanon three years and at Isabel 12 years. For the past 26 years they had lived at Spencer. Survivors are the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Ness of Madison, Mrs. Aletha Scherer of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Myra Morgan of Gibson City, Ill., and two sons, Gale of Portland and John of Gibson City.
