Sanders, age 82, arrived in Sigourney Saturday evening from Sioux Falls, S.D., and services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Reynolds Funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. W.W. Steinmetz and burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mrs. Sanders was a former Keokuk county woman. Steinmetz and burial was in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mrs. Sanders was a former Keokuk county woman. She was born November 9, 1868, an a farm near Sigourney, the daughter of James and Nancy McClenahan. On October 21, 1891, she was married to Frank Sanders at What Cheer and they established their home on a farm near here. They became the parents of two daughters. Doris passed away in infancy and Mrs. Paul M. Hollister lives at Sioux Falls, S.D. After the death of her husband on July 6, 1906, she moved to Sioux Falls and made here home with her daughter. She was a life ling member of the Sigourney Baptist church and always retained her membership here. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, George McClenahan, three sisters, Mrs. George Yahnke, Mrs. Fred Geno and Mrs. W.H. Milburn, who died September 18 this year at Dallas Center. Besides her daughter, she is survived by a grandson, Robert hollister of Santa Monica, Calif., and one brother, Mervin McClenahan of Sigourney and many nieces and nephews. Nephews were pallbearers. They were Floyd Yahnke, Virgil Geno, Leslie Hale, Alfred, Arthur and Howard Milburn.
