She was united in marriage to George M. Rawlins on October 10, 1897. To this union were born eight children, two sons dying in infancy. She was united in marriage to George M. Rawlins on October 10, 1897. To this union were born eight children, two sons dying in infancy. In August, 1913, she united with the Christian church at Auburn, Nebraska, of which church she has been a faithful and devoted follower. About four years ago she was stricken with diabetes and since then she has suffered much from this disease. All that medical aid and tender care by loved ones could offer could not check the ravages of the encroaching disease, and while it mastered her body, her faith in God remained resolute and firm and she was ready for the call when she was sumoned. She was a loving wife and mother, faithful and loyal to all who knew her, and one who will be greatly missed in the home and by her friends. She is survived by her husband, six children: Mrs. Pearl Hayes and Mrs. Ella Paddock of Percival; Mrs. Mearl Cloyed of Sidney, Mrs. Mabel Hayes of Hamburg, Thelma Mae and Winifred at home; by her aged parents, Mrs. and Mrs. John W. Barrett of Percival, and also four brothers, three sisters and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Percival Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. F. M. Sisson. Interment was made in the Sidney cemetery.
