Description	:	GIRARD--Minnie D. Davied, 91, of the Girard, Greenbush area, died at 9:44 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 1992 in the Intensive CAre Unit of the Girard Hospital District No. 1. She had been a resident of the Heritage Nursing Home, Girard for the past two years and was seriously ill for one week. She had entered the hospital Tuesday evening. Mrs. Davied was born on March 8, 1901 in rural Girard, to Lewis B. and Sarah A.(Shipman) McClelland. She lived all of her life in the Girard, Greenbush area and had attended Girard schools. Mrs. Davied was born on March 8, 1901 in rural Girard, to Lewis B. and Sarah A.(Shipman) McClelland. She lived all of her life in the Girard, Greenbush area and had attended Girard schools. Mrs. Davied was a homemaker. Membership was held in St. Michael's Catholic Church of Girard, Canasta Club and she was a charter member of the Friendly Club. She married George (Jody) Davied, Sr. on Jan. 23, 1923 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Greenbush. He preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1969. Survivors include two sons, George Davied, Jr. and John Lewis Davied both of Girard; two daughters, Barbara Unrein of Girard and Mary Jo Boyd of Pittsburg; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and 16 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, two sisters and six brothers.
