David Hall, Route 1, Lima, retired Methodist minister, died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital where she had been a medical patient since Sunday. Read More	Retired Teacher Dies, Aged 89 Services Tuesday For Mrs. Minnie Hall Mrs. Minnie Hall, 89, wife of the Rev. David Hall, Route 1, Lima, retired Methodist minister, died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital where she had been a medical patient since Sunday. Mrs. Hall was a retired teacher and had taught Latin and English at Ohio Northern University, Ada, from 1892 to 1895. Before that she taught in Lima's old Washington and Lowell Schools. In August, 1896, she was married to the Rev. Mr. Hall. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary this year. She was a native of Big Springs, Ohio, and her parents, Lewis and Elizabeth Dickinson, were pioneer residents of that area. The Halls returned to the Lima area 20 years ago from Degraff, following the retirement of the Rev. Mr. Hall from the ministry. They have lived on the farm where the Rev. Mr. Hall was born. Since 1946, Mrs. Hall had been without sight and had learned to read Braille. She was a member of the Shawnee Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of Christian Service. Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Walter Berger, Garden City, N.Y.; Mrs. Maurice Myers, Route 1, of the Allen County Aid to Dependent Children Agency; two sons, Dr. John Hall, Kendallville, Ind.; David G. Jr., Washington, D.C.; a brother, Robert Dickinson, Findlay; a sister, Mrs. Ella Irick, Ada; 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The body will remain in the Bayliff Funeral Home, Cridersville, until Wednesday morning, then will be removed to the residence to remain until noon Thursday. The body then will be removed to Shawnee Methodist Church for services at 2 p.m., the Rev. Robert Kimes officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery.
