Description	:	Minnie Elizabeth (Edmiston) Stahly was born May 15, 1895, to John and Isabel Edmiston in Beaver Crossing. She attended schools in Beaver Crossing and after graduating from high school taught school for several years. On October 12, 1916, she married Peter F Stahly, Milford. After her marriage she and her husband lived on a farm west of Milford until 1953 when they moved to Milford. She was an active member of the Milford United Missionary Church, the Women’s Missionary Society, and the Home makers O’Town Extension Club. She died as the result of an automobile accident, May... Read More	Minnie Elizabeth (Edmiston) Stahly was born May 15, 1895, to John and Isabel Edmiston in Beaver Crossing. She attended schools in Beaver Crossing and after graduating from high school taught school for several years. On October 12, 1916, she married Peter F Stahly, Milford. After her marriage she and her husband lived on a farm west of Milford until 1953 when they moved to Milford. She was an active member of the Milford United Missionary Church, the Women’s Missionary Society, and the Home makers O’Town Extension Club. She died as the result of an automobile accident, May 11, 1966, just four days before her 71st birthday. She is survived by her three children, Frank, Milford, Marjorie and Doris, Sacramento, Calif., and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter, in 1959, and also by her parents, one sister and one brother. Funeral services were held in the Bellwood Mennonite Church, Saturday, May 14, with Rev Larry Secor and Rev. Kenneth Baker officiating. Organist was Mrs. Margaret Ackerman, Singers were Mrs. Phyllis Williams, George Rumler. and Twila and Judy Tomlinson and Bonnie Miller. Burial was in Blue Mound Cemetery.
