Description	:	Minnie Schultz was born Sept. 18, 1897 at Garland, Nebr. Soon after birth she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She attended the parochial school in Garland and at the age of 13 years she was confirmed by Rev. Joeckel. She spent her youth near Garland. April 10, 1919, she entered into the state of holy matrimony with Ferdinand Schultz. This happy union was blessed with three children, one son and two daughters. After marriage she made her home on a farm in Seward county. She enjoyed fair health until May of this year when she became seriously ill. Everything... Read More	Minnie Schultz was born Sept. 18, 1897 at Garland, Nebr. Soon after birth she was baptized in the Lutheran faith. She attended the parochial school in Garland and at the age of 13 years she was confirmed by Rev. Joeckel. She spent her youth near Garland. April 10, 1919, she entered into the state of holy matrimony with Ferdinand Schultz. This happy union was blessed with three children, one son and two daughters. After marriage she made her home on a farm in Seward county. She enjoyed fair health until May of this year when she became seriously ill. Everything possible was done to restore her health, but it pleased God in his wisdom to call her home last Monday afternoon, August 2, 1943. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, one son, Elmer, two daughters, Nora and Berdine, three brothers, William Schulz and Rudolph Schulz, Seward and Henry Schulz, Garland; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Tiemann, Garland, Mrs. Carl Ficken, Pleasant Dale, and Mrs. Edward Sieck, Garland. Her sister, Mrs. Henry Ficken, preceded her in death. Six sisters-in-law, Mrs. William Rockenback, Waverly, Mrs. Ben Hoffman, Plainview, Mrs. Phil Luckhart, Plainview, Miss Emma Schultz, Lincoln, Mrs. Clarence Luebbe, Seward, and Mrs. August Schield, Pleasant Dale, and many other relatives and friends. She attained the age of 45 years, 10 months and 14 days. Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 at the home, and at 2 o'clock in Immanuel Lutheran church in Middle Creek, in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. C. Marting.
