Description	:	Minnie (Boger) Petersen (1891 - 1965) Mrs. Chris Petersen died at her home on First Avenue North on Feb. 25 at the age of 73 years, 5 months and 9 days. Minnie Helen Boger was born Sept. 14, 1891 at Schleswig, the daughter of Fritz Boger and his wife Ida nee Schluter. She lived in Crawford County and on Jan. 29, 1913 was wed to Chris Peterson; a marriage to which five children were born. They farmed in Hanover and Goodrich Townships before coming to make their home in Denison in 1955. Mr. Petersen preceded her in death... Read More	Minnie (Boger) Petersen (1891 - 1965) Mrs. Chris Petersen died at her home on First Avenue North on Feb. 25 at the age of 73 years, 5 months and 9 days. Minnie Helen Boger was born Sept. 14, 1891 at Schleswig, the daughter of Fritz Boger and his wife Ida nee Schluter. She lived in Crawford County and on Jan. 29, 1913 was wed to Chris Peterson; a marriage to which five children were born. They farmed in Hanover and Goodrich Townships before coming to make their home in Denison in 1955. Mr. Petersen preceded her in death in August 1964. Mrs. Peterson was a member, of the Lutheran church, having been baptized in infancy and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hanover Township. At the time of her death she was a member of the Zion Lutheran church in Denison and here her funeral service was held on Feb. 27 with the Rev. Carl W. Schmidt officiating. Selections were sung by the Lutheran Ladies Choir. Interment was made in the Morgan Township Cemetery with the following serving as bearers; Jerry Boger, Harold Eggert, George Gress, Jr. Herman Kahl Jr., Leroy Koch. Wilmer Wiese. Survivors include three sons, August of Schleswig and Elmer and Louis of Denison and one daughter, Mrs. Ida Eggert, of Denison, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, five sisters, Mrs. Ella Schram and Mrs. Anna Koch of Denison, Mrs. Hilda Kahl of Westside, Mrs. Amanda Hintz of Mapleton and Mrs. Hattie Kahl of Buck Grove and one brother, William Boger of Charter Oak. Preceding her in death were her husband, one son, Merlin one brother, Herman Boger and one granddaughter, Donna Petersen.
