Description	:	Atlantic News Telegraph September 14, 1953 Atlantic Woman Dies Following Long Illness Mrs. Roy Westphal, 49, of 1006 Chestnut street, died Sunday night at 7 p.m. at the Atlantic Memorial hospital following a ten-month illness. She had been a patient at the hospital since March. Mrs. Westphal, the daughter of Matthew and Helena Kluever, was born on March 17, 1904 in Audubon county. She had been a patient at the hospital since March. Mrs. Westphal, the daughter of Matthew and Helena Kluever, was born on March 17, 1904 in Audubon county. When she was 11 years old, she moved with her family from a farm near Audubon to Bridgewater. In 1925 she was married to Roy Westphal, and the couple farmed near Cumberland before moving to the Massena vicinity. In 1942 the Westphals moved to Atllantic. Mrs. Westphal was a member of the Methodist church and served as a nurse's aid at the Atlantic hospital for the past seven years. Surviving are: her husband; a son, Robert, Atlantic; her father, Matthew Kluever, of Atlantic, three brothers, Paul and Raymond of Atlantic and William of Greenfield; two sisters, Mrs. Bonner Gustason and Mrs. Dexter Andersen, both of Atlantic, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor and Sanders chapel with the Rev. Leonard Tinker officiating. Interment will be in the Massena cemetery.
