Description	:	Mrs. Minnie Lietzmam, wife of Henry Leitzmann, died at the family home south of Victor, Tuesday afternoon, January 20, 1925. She had been ill,,only a short time, and her death came as a great shock to her many friends. Mrs. Leitzmam was born in Zeitelwitz, Germany, February. 27, 1867. She was married to Henry Leitzmann on April 30, 1891. Ten children were born to this union and five of them preceded the mother in death. She had been ill,,only a short time, and her death came as a great shock to her many friends. Mrs. Leitzmam was born in Zeitelwitz, Germany, February. 27, 1867. She was married to Henry Leitzmann on April 30, 1891. Ten children were born to this union and five of them preceded the mother in death. Mrs. Minnie Lietzmam was baptised in in- fancy, received religous instruction, and joined the Immanuel M.E. Church when 15 years of age. In early childhood she gave her heart to God and the house of God was ever a delight to her soul. Mrs. Leitzmann was a faithful wife, who for 33 years bore the joys and sorrows of family life and she was a devoted and self-sacrificing mother. Her faith in the Bible led her to present to each one of her children a copy of the Word of God. She was a true Christian and knew the value of secret prayer. Her kind heart was beautifully laid bare, when at the death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Charles Ranfeld, she took her little daughter, Pearl, and mothered her for 14 years, believing in the words of Jesus: "And Who so Shall Receive One Little Child in My name Receiveth Me". Mrs. Leitzmann is survived by her bereaved husband; five children, Mrs. Roy Bair, Mrs. Grant Bair, Miss Esther Leitzmann, Carl and Ed Leitzmann; three sisters, Mrs. Will Brandt, Mrs. Elias Schultz and Mrs. Henry Schwiebert; three brothers, John, Fred and Charles Ranfeld; five grandchildren, and many other relatives and a host of friends, who look forward to the eternal reunion. The funeral will be held Friday, January 23 from the Immanuel M.E. Church at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Carl Fritz. Interment in the Immanuel Cemetery, Victor, Iowa.
