Description	:	Aberdeen - The funeral service for Minnie (Flakoll) Tysver, 92, of Aberdeen and formerly of Ellendale, N.D., will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Ellendale. There will be a prayer service Friday at 7 p.m., with visitation from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. She died Dec. 31, 2006, at Bethesda Home in Aberdeen. Minnie Nellie Melland, daughter of John and Bertha (Kalaas) Melland, was born May 9, 1914, near Bradley in Clark County, S.D. As a child, she attended Cottonwood Country School in Clark County. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, singing many solos and duets with her sisters at various functions. She did housework for friends. She was united in marriage to Anton "Tony" Flakoll on June 19, 1933, in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aberdeen. They lived on a farm near Forbes in McPherson County, S.D., where she raised her three sons. Her husband died June 1, 1964. She worked as a nursing assistant for three years at Prince of Peace Care Center, and for 20 years at the Ellendale Community Hospital. She was then united in marriage to Elmer Tysver on Nov. 24, 1979, in Christ the King Lutheran Church in Ellendale. They made their home in Ellendale. Her husband died Jan. 7, 2003. On Oct. 25, 2002, she entered Bethesda Home in Aberdeen. Survivors include three sons: Alden (Wilma) Flakoll of Forbes, David (Marsha) Flakoll of Alamo, Calif., and Thomas (Linda) Flakoll of Washington Crossing, Pa.; one brother, Dean (Anna) Melland of Forbes; four sisters: Olga Ham of Rapid City, Jennie Flakoll of Forbes, Esther (Leonard) Harvey of Park Rapids, Minn., and Sylvia (Raymond) Ofstedal of Brookings, S.D.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two stepsons: Eldon (Pat) Tysver of Blaine, Minn., and Merle Tysver of Sisseton, S.D.; and two stepdaughters: Lorene Diterman of Linville, Tenn., and Aleda Tysver-Mertz of Chanhassen, Minn. Her parents, husbands, four sisters - Marie, Clara, Borghild and Alma - and two grandsons preceded her in death. Carlsen Funeral Home in Ellendale has been entrusted with arrangements.
